Almond Fig Cake
This lightly sweet “breakfast” cake is a delight any time of the day, but especially paired with a warm drink as we head towards crisp, fall mornings. The cake is flavored with almond, vanilla, and cardamom and topped with sliced almonds and turbinado sugar.
Our 8×8 square pan option includes 9 servings with half a fig centered in each slice. Our mini version utilizes a small 4″ pie tin for a convenient single serving.
